My Mom was a stubborn woman but she was fair most of the time.  If we disagreed with her she would listen and then she would discuss with my Dad if he was there if not she would decided our fate.  Everyone called her Chris no one ever called her Fern and if they did they only done it once.  She hated that name.  Tomorrow is her birthday and if she was still with us she would be 81 years old.  I don’t think I realized how old she was really until I started this blog when she died she was very young as far as ages goes.  67 years old and believe me she lived them all the way she wanted to.  She was harder on me and my oldest brother than she was the rest of the children and I think that is because she knew that we needed to help out with the rest of them.  However that didn’t work out like she thought because we lost him in Vietnam and that just left me being the oldest.  Roger was one of a kind and my Mom never let any of talk about him after he was gone and she didn’t talk about him either.

Well Mom I just wanted to let you know that we have lost Uncle Chuck, Terri, in this past year.  Uncle Chuck left us on Father’s Day I bet you all had something to say about that.  Then Terri was lost on January 6 of this year.  I know that you probably already know since I’m sure they are with you playing some kind of cards or board games.

Mom I wanted to let you know that Mark, Chris and I and the rest of the family miss you and wanted you to know we wanted to wish you a “Happy Birthday” I know it isn’t like it is here but if by thinking or wishing you get a piece of cake  enjoy it okay.  I love you Mom be care and God Bless you.

Love Lighthouse_Kat, Mark, Chris and your granddaughter Misty
