Hello my fellow bloggers, family and friends,

Tonight while I was helping my daughter Steph clean up while she was cooking dinner we had been talking about lots of things and while she was wiping down the counter I said or she said that part isn’t important of who said what.  The thing that is important is that it got me thinking I and told her that would make a great title for a blog and here I sit thinking about all the times I have wanted to do something and life jumped out and got into the hang of things and then I couldn’t do it for some reason or another.

Life isn’t something which we can always count on but it something which should be lived to the fullest.  Why you ask, well one never knows just how long they might have and if you dwell on that about the length of time one has then you will not have much time at all because you will be to busy trying to out think death which in my knowledge no one ever has.  LIVE LIFE TO IT’S MAX!!!  Don’t worry about life stress is enough to think about without thinking life is going out of control.

Smile be happy it is going to be okay for you but don’t take my word cause I can only know things for my life but if you live your life to the best of your ability and do the best you can than you have a good chance of being happy if when life gets in the way.

Thank you again for reading my blog and for making comments or just liking I am wishing you all a very happy October.  God bless each and every one of you bless you all for being in my life even if it is just to read an old lady rumblings.

I love Eleanor Roosevelt and I believe she was a great first lady as well as a president for a while even if she didn’t get the credit.

I’m Still Here

Hello fellow bloggers, family, and friends,

I know that I haven’t been here for awhile but I have been busy trying to finish my rewrites on my book and trying to find a place to live for Misty and I.  Right now we are staying in a fifth wheel which is comfortable but we have no running water and we can use the toilet at the moment which is great when your camping but I don’t want to be camping for another 3 or 4 months.  LOL  I love the state of Washington but somethings just are really dumb I hope we can find us a place before the snow hits we are already at the raining season.  With the rainy season it starts to get cold here and that is another thing it is going to be cold in here because we have no heat.  (ouch)

Well I went through another anniversary for my Mom on the 5 of September and even though it hurts because she is gone I didn’t feel like my heart was being ripped apart because she isn’t here with us.  Yes I still miss her every day and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t want to call her and tell her something and because she has lost not one husband but two she who understand when I told her how I wish Carl was still here with me and that I miss him and our talks at the end of our day.  I miss the holding of hands and just being able to touch when we are passing past each other.  I know that a lot of you who have lost your spouse or your lover knows what I’m talking about it’s just not the loving it is a lot of things rolled into one.  I don’t when you first started reading this you didn’t think it would get personal I’m sorry I just wanted to let you know that this is some of the things I would talk with my Mom about and she has been right where I am not once but twice.

Misty is going on a little weekend trip to visit a place neither of us has been before.  It is called Port Orchard and that is where Debbie Macomber lives she writes some of her books there and she has the TV series on Hallmark which is kind of based on her home town.  To make a long story short she is wanting to spend time there but she wants to check out the mountains and the water views which I understand is breath taking.

Well guys and gals that is about all for now.  I hope you all have a great October don’t forget that it is National Breast Cancer Awareness month  and that you should all get your boobs check male and female cause it just doesn’t hit females I know a few males who have had it too.  Also don’t forget about all the kids getting ready for Halloween and best of all it is the run for the pennant to see who will make it to the World Series and of course my birthday!!!!!
