Hello bloggers and family:
Wanted to give you an update on what all is happening here in San Antonio for HP it is all good so far he is being poked and proded to make sure he is going to be strong enough to handle the stress that will be placed on his body when he has his stem cells transparent. So far he seems to be holding his own. He had his last test today with pulmonary and that of course deals with his breathing. We are done until Monday morning now so we can relax and watch a little TV and a few movies. We want to get out and see a few places but right now for the time being that isn’t going to happen but it will.
The nurses, doctors, social worker and other staff members have made us feel very welcome and this is one of the few places I can truly say that they are nice and not trying to hard to make us feel important because they do treat HP as if he is important and so are his questions and issues. They want him to come to them if he feels there is something he needs that hasn’t been done or he feels is being done too much. That is a great staff that looks after the patients needs and understands those needs as well.
The Audie Leon Murphy VA Hospital is a great place to be if you need a bone marrow transplant using your on stem cells not only because HP is here and they are taking great care of him but because I feel (my opinion) that if your not understanding what is going on then they will explain it until you do. No matter how many times it takes and they will do it with a SMILE on their face. Because you are the one who needs to understand the things that are going on.
Well believe or not I have run out of things to say except please keep my cousin HP in your thoughts and prayers because this process is going to take at least 42 days and if more time needed then it will be approximately another 3 weeks. So pray please it only takes 42 days and that we don’t need the added time.
Well fellow bloggers and family I’m signing off for now and promise to keep you all posted on the events has they unfold.

Hello Bloggers and Friends alike:
As I ready myself for my trip down south on Monday with my cousin HP for his treatment of rare bone cancer. I will be gone from here for about 2 months and 2 weeks HP and I will try to relax a little and see the sites but I know it will be hard on him too. I’m asking you as the readers of my blogs and people who I feel like are family as well as friends to keep HP in your prayers the doctors down at the VA Hospital are not hopeful but say anything can happen I’m hoping 2 of us go down and 2 of us come back home. But to tell you the truth I’m just a little scared. I will carry each one of you in my heart because you have all touched a piece of it. I know that I will be taking my camera down south with me cause there are so many places to shoot pictures at: building, the river walk, the Alamo, of course that is one of the things San Antonio is famous for. It is also where they did the filming of Baywatch the TV series with Pamela Anderson. I know that there is other known places also but I want to surprise you with what I post while I’m there.
Keep us in your prayers and I will keep y’all in my thoughts. David I don’t whether you read my blogs or not but I really do love Chester and Oliver and it is so cool that you have finally given Oliver top billing with you. I want all of you to feel like you are in San Antonio when you look at my pictures we will see won’t we? Well my Friends that is all for now I want all of you to love your family and not take them for granted. Love always Red Soxs Lady 35
Hello Fellow Bloggers:
I thought it was time to touch base and let you know what is going on in my life in the last couple of weeks since my last post. First, let me tell you that Misty and I did move in to our new place. We are so happy to have a place of our own not that I won’t miss my brother Mark but it is great to be out on our own. Misty has her room down at one end of the house and mine is at the opposite end of the house and we even have a three room for my grandchildren to come and visit or the kids Daddy come visit it makes it very nice. The only thing is we still have no furniture I hoping someone will help out there until such time as we can find some of our own. LOL
Second, I need to be in San Antonio starting on the 24 June with my cousin HP for so stem cell transplants and more chemo and radiation for a period of 2 month 1 week unless something goes wrong which I’m praying won’t happen. For all of you out there please say a couple of prayers for HP and my daughter Jen because of her wishes for privacy I am following her wishes and not writing about her problems or issues just know she needs your prayers as well and from us to you many thanks to all of you.
Third, I will be taking my camera to San Antonio and take some pictures plus I will taking my laptop with me also so I will keep you up to date about HP and let you know what is going on. I hope to post some cool looking pictures also like the famous Alamo it would be a trip if I didn’t take a picture of the Alamo now would it?
I want to wish all of fathers and grandfathers out there who read my blog a very Happy Father’s Day and for those out there who are like me and have lost their fathers I know you still think of them but I bet that know that your thinking of them and this day. I know my Dad knows causes I feel it. Anyway don’t think I’m weird I just different. LOL
You each have a good week and know that I’m thinking of you. Keep smiling and loving one another. Hanging in there and stop and smell the roses sometime because if you rush around and forget to stop then you just might forget what the roses smell like.
